ICN Statement of Faith

"Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God." (1 Corinthians 10:31)

The entire leadership, employees, staff, volunteers, Advisory Council Team, and Board of Directors at International Christian Network (ICN) are committed to serving Jesus Christ and His purposes, the global Christian community, ICN members, our neighbors, and the ministry of ICN. Using the Bible as our foundation and the Holy Spirit as our guide, we profess to agree with all, but not limited to the following principles and ICN Statement of Faith.

In order to promote a unified and working ministry foundation, and in an effort to implement and maintain biblical and operational principles (Ephesians 1:11-14), any member of and/or participant of the ICN membership-based ministry and the benefits associated with and provided, must profess they have received the gift of forgiveness for their sin by the shed blood of Jesus Christ, proclaim Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord, and agree to the following "Statement of Faith."

We believe . . . that there is one God eternally existing in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19; Ephesians 1:17; I Peter 1:2) who created the universe, the heavens, and the world we live in. (Genesis 1:1-2:4; Colossians 1:16; Hebrews 1:10, 11:1-3). Worship of any form, to any person(s) and/or anything created by God, is forbidden and considered idolatry. (Exodus 20:3-5).

We believe . . . that the Bible is God's written revelation to man (I Thessalonians 2:13) and that it is inspired, authoritative, without error in the original manuscripts, “and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

We believe . . . in the deity of Jesus Christ and being made in the likeness of men (Philippians 2:5-7), His virgin birth (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23), sinless life, miracles, death on the cross to provide for the forgiveness of our sin (John 3:16-17; Hebrews 10:10) and the redemption from the eternal separation from God, bodily resurrection and ascension into heaven (Hebrews 12:2), present ministry of intercession for us (Romans 8:34; Hebrews 7:24-25), and His return to earth and to reign in power and glory. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Revelation 20:11 - 22:21).

We believe . . . that man was created in the image of God (Genesis 1:26-27), but because of man's sin, he was separated spiritually from a relationship with God (Romans 3:23, 5:12, 6:23) The spiritual separation from God can be restored only by faithfully accepting God’s gift of forgiveness for our sin (John 3:16-17; Ephesians 2:8-10) - which was made possible by Jesus Christ's death, which paid in full the debt of man’s sin (Hebrews 7:24-25, 27, 9:12, 26); and the resurrection of Jesus from the dead (1 Peter 1:3), which conquered the penalty of death (Romans 6:9-10; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4).

We believe . . . that without faith, it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. (Hebrews 11:6).

We believe . . . that all those who repent and believe in Christ are delivered from the judgment of God and are spiritually born again at that moment and into life eternal (1 Peter 1:3-5), and are called to share the message of our faith, to teach, baptize, and train anyone in all nations who will accept the good news of Jesus Christ. (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:8).

We believe . . . the gift of forgiveness from God is indeed a gift that no one can earn (Romans 3:19-31, 6:23; Ephesians 1:6-8, 2:8-10). We also believe this gift comes with the responsibility to live out the rest of one’s life in a manner worthy of being a member in the family of God (Ephesians 4:1-3; 1 Thessalonians 2:11-12).

We believe . . . in the personality and deity of the Holy Spirit, that He performs the miracle of new birth in an unbeliever and indwells believers, enabling them to live a godly life (Ephesians 1:13-14).

We believe . . . the Lord Jesus Christ will come again and those who have accepted God’s gift of salvation will live forever with Him and enjoy the eternal rewards in a place called Heaven where there will be no more sin, suffering, pain, tears, or death (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Revelation 21:3-5). Those who reject God’s gift of salvation and forgiveness of sin will suffer the consequences of being eternally separated from God in a place called Hell (Luke 12:5; 2 Peter 2:4; Revelation 20:11-22:21).
